A Jail Scene

I am very happy with your kit.  The design is smart.  Having two layers for each wall makes it easy to paint the bars and the exposed underlayment.  Also, the fit is very good.  As you can see, I had a little different vision than your original.  I wanted it to look like it was part of an old western mining town.  I painted the walls tan and then used my laser engraver to burn a wood pattern into them.  I also bored a hole in the base, as I am adding a light to it later.   An opening in the base is something you might want to include in future versions of your kit.  Since I’m adding a light, I added a layer of balsa wood to the interior.  Without it, light shines through around the exposed underlayment.  I also added wood strips inside each corner, also to block light.  The end result should be that light shines only through the windows.
